thanks guys!
i know most of you use this technique, but did anyone actually download the replay and tried it for yourself?
when i started playing TMN i noticed other players online making a start like that, so i made this "map" and train on it to see whats it all about... then i figured: "Of course, if im not on the ground, i cant accelerate..."
And i trained on it for 10-20min until i really nailed it!
Why?
Because:
1.) if you go too much in diagonal, you loose time
2.) if you go too little in diagonal, your wheels are more in the air than on the ground
3.) if you start going in diagonal too soon, you jump over the downhill gutter (wheels in the air + no downhill acceleration)
4.) if you start going in diagonal too late, you jump right into the gutter (wheels in the air + little crash)
That leaves you with very little space to do it right!
Therefore i highly advise you download the replay and try it for yourself.
@sill if you open the replay in Editor, you can zoom in on the wheel and play frame by frame to see at what time your wheel touches the ground
so its not a great wisdom
